Carnival Week
Provincetown Carnival Week is the peak of the summer season — a week of themed costume parties, events, and the famous parade down Commercial Street on Thursday afternoon. The themed year rotates through iconic pop culture (Space, Hollywood, Disco, etc.) and draws tens of thousands to the town's most spectacular celebration.
Bear Week
One of the world's largest bear events — Provincetown Bear Week draws thousands of bears, cubs, and admirers to the Cape each July. Pool parties at the Crown & Anchor, bar events across Commercial Street, and a joyful, body-positive community celebration that has become a P-Town institution.
Women's Week
P-Town Women's Week draws thousands of queer women to Provincetown each September for concerts, comedy, dance events, and one of the most beloved lesbian community gatherings in the country. The Crown & Anchor and venues across Commercial Street host dedicated programming all week.
Fantasia Fair
The world's oldest transgender event — Fantasia Fair has been held in Provincetown every October since 1975. A week of workshops, events, and community for trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse people, set in one of the world's most affirming destinations.

Getting To & Around Provincetown
Provincetown is at the very tip of Cape Cod — accessible by fast ferry from Boston (90 min), by car on Route 6, or by Cape Air flight. Once in P-Town, Commercial Street and the whole town are entirely walkable. Leave the car — parking is scarce and unnecessary.
